Developers, Cristo Homes plan new townhomes in Madisonville
Developers Greg Berling, Ken Campbell and Cristo Homes plan to build seven, two-story townhomes with attached garages in the northwest corner of Madison Road and Anderson Place, with the homes located along Anderson Place.
The homes will have three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and have 1,557 square feet on the first two floors, with a 352 square foot finished basement. They will be Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certified, with the option of having solar panels.
The homes will be set back about 9 feet from the street and behind the driveway, there will be about 8 feet of private, open space.
Planning commissioners approved a needed subdivision of 0.4 acres of land at 5500 Madison Rd. into seven lots between 2,000 and 2,540 square feet. A central driveway will provide access to two-car garages in the rear, plus two surface parking spaces per unit. The homes will cost between $350,000 to $450,000, depending on finishes chosen by buyers. They could be on sale later this year.
