Silverfern to add over 150 apartments, 70 jobs to Cincinnati suburb with residential conversion project

Silverfern Senior Living is slated to open Silverfern Cincinnati North this spring, according to a news release from the city. Silverfern acquired the former 12-story Clarion hotel, located at 3855 Hauck Road, in 2021.

Kiwi Hospitality and Silverfern completed most of the work in-house. The project partners are putting the final touches on rooms and prospective tenants can now submit deposits. The apartments include studio and one-bedroom floor plans, with rents ranging from $2,600 to $2,800 for a studio and $3,500 to $3,800 for a one-bedroom unit.

Silverfern Cincinnati North creates 70 new jobs, according to Sharonville Economic Development Director David McCandless.

“The company did a fantastic job repurposing an old hotel into a venue where seniors can enjoy all the comforts of home,” McCandless said in a release.

Silverfern Cincinnati North offers multiple exercise programs; restaurant-style dining and bar; and classes including ceramics, golf, basketball and art for residents. Its club floor includes a pool, dance studio, grandkids’ playroom, virtual reality room, beauty salon and more.
