$6 million received from the State of Kentucky, to help SparkHaus conversion of Covington historic building

The project will help revitalize the Historic Formers Sims Furniture Building. In it’s entirety. the conversion is anticipated to cost around $15 million. The building has been vacant since 2022. SparkHaus the opportunity to create the third innovation hub in the area, alongside, Over-the-Rhine and Uptown Cincinnati, by providing support to local entrepreneurs, as well as tools that can be used to grow and expand their business.
SparkHaus opening is slated for Summer 2025.
