Ohio connections lead to Covington’s own Garage Beer partnering with Jason and Travis Kelce

Never underestimate the power of an Ohio connection. In 2023, Ohio’s startups and small businesses generated over $1.7 billion in economic output. There’s a steady stream of ambitious individuals coming from various areas of Ohio and they’re having a large impact.

Local Cleveland knowledge and a nickname brought the Beer Garage partnership together. Long story short, after being introduced to Andy Sauer, Travis Kelce heard Andy refer to Progressive Field as “The Jake” and that was all she wrote. The budding bro-ship led to a partnership where Travis and Jason Kelce have bought minority stake in Garage Beer. Garage Beer is a spinoff brand from the Covington, KY-based Braxton Brewing.

Sales and Marketing will be the biggest impact The Kelce brothers bring to the table. Garage Beer is sold in 12 different states and they’re working to add more.
