334 Apartments units coming to Miami Township

Hills Properties has plans to build their newest development, Ember, just north of state route 28 in Miami Township. The 35-acre site was purchased in early July for $3 million. Of the 35 acres, 10 acres will be developed and roughly 25 acres will remain woodland.

The property will consist of six apartment buildings consisting of 112 one-bedroom units and 222 two-bedroom units. A quarter of the units will be over 1,400 sqft and will offer a study/den and half bath and will rent for around $2,700. The smallest unit will be 721 sqft and will rent for $1,450.

The target demographic for Ember include empty nesters and young professionals. The design will look like that of a luxury ski resort, with cedar siding and stone. Amenities will include a heated pool, fitness room, clubhouse and more.
