Freedom Brewing Co., Pickleball Ranch break ground in Florence

The brewery is located on four acres behind the Florence Y’alls minor league baseball team’s Thomas More Stadium. The brewery will take up 12,000 square feet and feature indoor and outdoor seating and a rooftop deck, as well as a brewpub restaurant and taproom.

Pickleball Ranch will offer six pickleball courts on-site.

Freedom Brewing Co. Managing Partner Pete Robinson said in a news release the brewery will work closely with the city of Florence and the Y’alls to create an entertainment district and a social and lifestyle experience for fans of craft beer, baseball, pickleball and live entertainment.

“Over twenty years ago, community leaders envisioned the Florence Y’alls site as an entertainment district and the vision is now becoming a reality,” Florence Mayor Dr. Julie Metzger Aubuchon said in a release.
