More than 200 pot shops top open in Ohio “in the blink of an eye”

“Basically, overnight we are going to add 200 to 250 dispensaries on the map in the blink of an eye,” Jim Canepa, Superintendent of the state’s newly created Division of Cannabis Control, said Wednesday during a Columbus Metropolitan Club forum on the new law. “That’s not the normal state of affairs.”

Ohio currently has 120 medical marijuana dispensaries open, including 22 in Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont counties, all of which will get a recreational license.
