Ohio awards $22.3 million to feature films being shot around Cincinnati

A total of $36.7 million in tax credits was awarded to 17 different projects being filmed in Ohio, with $22.3 million of that going to Cincinnati area projects.
The 17 projects are expected to create roughly 500 new jobs with production expenditures and expenses reaching towards $150 million. Ohio allows for a 30% tax credit on product, cast and crew wages.
Some of the feature films being shot in the area include:
-“Breaking up with Mom and Dad” – $6.1mm
-“Epiphany” – $10.7mm – starring Sylvester Stallone – A Philadelphia detective is forced to deal with his unsettled past with the Catholic Church when he investigates a serial killer who is targeting its members who are linked to a local scandal.
-“Furever Home” $1mm
-“Help Me” – $403,744
-“The Mastermind” – $4mm
-Water’s Edge” – $113,100
